The Workshop ,,Functional Approach to movement” is aimed to all fitness professionals who want to learn new disciplines of movements and get inspired with fitness class creativity. The purpose is to give you a vision of how fitness class and movement can vary and be fun. It’s about exploring how the movements can be composed into unbreakable flows and share the set of skills how to effectively teach
different format classes. With this workshop my goal is to encourage participants to explore
and unlock their own unique style of teaching in safe and professional manner. Learn,
experiment and have fun with new ideas for your workouts in fitness world.

Pilates Mini Ball – it is dynamic Pilates class with lot of attention on correct alignment and full body integration in everything we do. Joana is using the small ball in traditional way and as well adds a twist of her own. Traditional prop is used to teach Pilates exercises not only to challenge your stability and control but to give you proprioceptive feeddback through the movement. Class will start with awakening standing flow using Barre & Balle elements after which we will be moving towards fun mat work variations that will work your entire body.
Total Body Sculpt – Joana thinks fun, music, action and dynamics are the most important compounds of group fitness classes. This class is thought to the music breaking down compound movement to 16-count sequences and 32-counts blocks using small studio equipment like dumbells, plates, barbels or resistance bands. Movements set to music integrate functional upper and lower body strenght and tone combos. Effective strenght training using compound movements and moving to the beat puts great impact on your cardio training and endurance. Class is split into 3 to 4 parts with diferent routines to target full body. Every routine has its progressions and modifications to make class efective and followable for every particypant.
Mobility Flow
A feel-good complex of exercises moving from top to toe in slow and deep, dynamic, rhythmic and same time mellow movement sequences. The set of exercises includes connection to myofascial meridians and chains. Goal is to maintain engagement of deep muscles while improving mobility and flexibility moving through all myofascial lines. The class might include props like small ball, resistance bands, massage balls. The Mobilizing Flow is great for relieving tension, reducing stress, and clearing the mind.
